Denali Engineering Services is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with a strong background in industrial and infrastructure design. We are looking for an engineer who understands how structures are designed, detailed, fabricated, and constructed—and who can work effectively alongside mechanical, process, civil, and electrical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design structural steel and reinforced concrete systems for industrial and infrastructure projects

• Perform structural analysis and design for gravity, wind, seismic, equipment, and other applicable loads

• Develop structural calculations, specifications, and design details

• Design equipment supports, foundations, platforms, and other industrial structures

• Develop and review reinforcing steel and structural steel details

• Apply ASCE 7 and applicable building codes and design standards

• Coordinate structural requirements with mechanical, process, civil, and electrical disciplines

• Review shop drawings, submittals, and contractor RFIs

• Support field investigations and construction-phase services

• Develop contractor scopes of work and support project execution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required

• Strong experience with structural steel and reinforced concrete design

• Experience with industrial structures, equipment supports, foundations, or infrastructure projects

• Strong understanding of seismic design and ASCE 7

• Revit experience strongly preferred

• Experience with structural analysis/design software

• Ability to independently lead structural design efforts and coordinate across disciplines
